Anything.

i wonder if sookie finally sees

i feel like she might,… the ending scenes with her staring after Eric and Bill… she looked very deep in thought, and gave Eric the saddest, most sincere little smile.. while Bill got a “just friends” kind of look…

Now that I’ve slept, and my squealing fan girliness has calmed down, I can really appreciate the writing/character development that went into last night’s episode. Everyone has always known that Eric was interested in Sookie, but there was always a limit for him.
He wouldn’t put her over the vampire agenda. Last night he did. I mean, think about it. Eric has a serious beef with Marnie. She erased his memory, controlled him, cursed Pam, and has been trying to wipe out his kind. Think about the significance of this. This is Eric, someone who has never valued humans. Old Eric would have been pissed about some stupid ass witch trying to take out his people. And he still is (coughmissilelauncherscough). But, none of that is as important to him as Sookie, and her safety.
He wouldn’t put her over Pam. But, he is now. He’s always sort of rolled his eyes and usually agreed with Pam’s snarkiness towards Sookie. Think about last season, he wasn’t going to “sell Sookie out to Russell” until Pam started crying and begging. But, last night there was clearly a line for him and Pam crossed it. Him yelling at Pam was a huge tell that Eric is probably the one out of Sookie’s many suitors that loves her the most.
And this has been mentioned before but before when Eric “gave his life” for Sookie, it was under a condition. It was for Godric, and Sookie was an after thought. It was to revenge his family, and Sookie was just a bonus. But, it was for her. And he was going to let Bill Compton do it. That’s huge for Eric.
I’m a shipper that’s okay if they’re apart, because the angst is half the fun. But, this all seems to be heavily indicating that Eric is who she “chooses”.
